1. Chicken rolls with bacon, cheese and ham

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken breasts, cut like milanesas (600 g).
  • 1/2 cup of unleavened wheat flour (50 g).
  • 2 cups of mozzarella cheese without grating (200 g).
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper (15 g).
  • 3 cups with strips of bacon (300 g).
  • 4 cups of heavy cream (400 mL).
  • 3 tablespoons of butter (45 g).
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder (15 g).
  • 1 cup of vinegar (100 mL).
  • 2 cups of ham (200 g).
  • 1 tablespoon of salt (15 g).
  • Cut broccoli (150 g).

Preparation

  • It begins with preheating the oven to about 160º C and grease a mold for the preparation.
  • Afterwards, season the breasts with salt, garlic and pepper. Dip them in the vinegar and let them rest for 1 or 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • After this time, remove the breasts from the refrigerator, drain and place on each of them a slice of ham and a slice of cheese
  • Roll up, then wrap with a strip of bacon and with the help of a toothpick, go through a little wheat flour.
  • Next, place the rolls in the baking dish and bake for 45 minutes.
  • At the same time, heat the butter in a large pan, add the broccoli and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • After 45 minutes, remove the chicken from the oven and from the ovenproof dish.
  • Top with the cream, sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese  and bake again for about 10 minutes, until the cheese has been gratinated.
  • Finally, place the sautéed broccoli in the bottom of the mold and place the breast rolls on top. And enjoy!

2. Chicken rolls with bacon, avocado and ham

At this point, you surely know that the base of this dish is practically the same. The difference lies in the way of cooking the ingredients, and adding new combinations, in this case, the healthy avocado.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of salt (15 g).
  • 1 whole avocado (400 g).
  • 2 branches of dried oregano (6 g).
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of bacon (150 g).
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper (15 g).
  • 5 pieces of chicken breast (500 g).
  • 4 cups of mozzarella cheese without grating (400 g).

Preparation

  • The first thing you should do is place the chicken breasts on a wooden slat and start seasoning with salt, pepper and the oregano branches.
  • Then, proceed to spread on sheets of aluminum foil and, little by little, introduce the mozzarella cheese, the avocado and the bacon strips.
  • Once the previous step has been completed, it is time to roll up the chicken rolls with bacon, avocado and cheese and put it in the oven for 35 minutes at 160º C.
  • After the cooking time, it will be ready to serve. Important, if you want to accompany, you can do it with white rice, mashed potatoes or cooked egg salad.
