8 lies happy people refuse to believe

There are certain lies that happy people refuse to believe. Here are some of them:

1. Happy people don’t believe in “you can’t …”

Many are the times that we say what we want to do out loud and someone says to you: “you can’t do that”. So, m Many of us believe it and don’t see that this is a big lie. Look around:  all we have in life was because someone came up with it

If JK Rowling had believed that she was incapable of writing and, moreover, living on it, the world would not have known Harry Potter. The truth is that you can do a large part of the things that you set out to do.

2. I need … to …

Okay, you do need a job in order to have money, but what you don’t need is to give up your goals to get that money.  Happy people find that waiting for the “perfect situation” to do something can be totally illogical.

Most of the time all you need to get what you want is to have determination and believe that you can do it.  Most of the things we think are vital to achieving our goals just require a little ingenuity.

3. I don’t feel like …

This feeling is the most normal in the world, but at the same time it is an illusion. Sometimes we feel like fraudsters or like we are trying to fill a position that does not belong to us. You are your own strength, you can encourage yourself and, above all, you must believe in yourself.

We know that you can’t feel good all the time, but it is your duty to believe in yourself and never let anyone break your trust.  When you feel like a fake, try to figure out what’s going on and where this feeling is coming from.  Think that much of your achievements come from the confidence you have in yourself.

4. I’m too old to …

Fencing

Don’t let anyone make you believe that and, more importantly, don’t believe it yourself.  Happy people realized that this is one of the biggest falsehoods. Thus, l age is just a number that determines how much time has passed since the moment you were born, but it is not an obstacle that grows larger over time.

So it doesn’t matter how old you are: you can always change, improve and reinvent yourself . If someone tells you, answer “my age is only a reflection of my opportunities, not my limitations.”

5. It’s easy to say, but I can’t do it

Obviously, it will always be easier to say than to do. Anyone can say they want or dream a thousand things, but “doing” requires effort. Thus, what happy people know is that they must take that step to achieve what they want.

They are not satisfied with dreaming. They know that their dreams are the foundation for everything they do, but they are willing to do whatever it takes.

6. Control is everything

Happy people accept that they cannot control everything, so they focus their time on controlling what they can and allow themselves to be surprised by the rest.  They realized that it is a waste of Energy and time wanting to control everything. So don’t be fooled – don’t waste your focus on uncontrollable things.

7. Life is unfair

It is an immensely great belief and one that plunges many people into depression. Certainly life is very fair.   Of course bad things happen and everyone, including happy people, must face this reality. This is not to say that life is unfair.

Happy people blindly trust the justice of life. They understand that pain and suffering are transitory states of mind, but not determinative.  Yes, bad things happen. Life itself is a miracle worth celebrating and there is a good thing.

8. Happy people don’t exist

This phrase is common, but it is false. If there is happiness and if there are people who live happily, believe it. Above all, believe that you deserve it and that you are. We all have the power to be happy.

Happiness is a right that we all have at birth, although many times we believe that this is not the case because we feel less.  Most of the time this happens because someone tells us, but don’t believe it. Remember: happiness is a right that you have to claim.
