Below we will tell you which are the most popular detox teas and how to prepare each of them.
Preliminary considerations
The ideal is to include these drinks in moderation within a healthy lifestyle. It is not advisable to consume more than 3 glasses of any drink with medicinal plants a day, since it could cause discomfort and even interactions with food or drugs. As with many other issues, excesses are harmful.
- It is not advisable to base your daily hydration on these drinks. Ideally, always give priority to water.
- If you want to drink green tea, make it 40-45 minutes after having a main meal, since otherwise, it could interfere with the absorption of nutrients.
It is important to note that detox teas and natural infusions are an excellent substitute for industrial drinks, as long as no sugar or any other sweetener is added.
In case you want to add a little honey or stevia, it is advisable to do it very sparingly. One (or half) teaspoon is more than enough.
